We had a wonderful time with Alfonso, his fantastic team and horses! Me and my daughter did things we had never imagined before, like flying changes, canter pirouette etc. The horses were all so well schooled and on top of that also super lovely, relaxed and great to be with. Both the dressage lessons and the hack in the surrounding area were such great experience!

Equestrian Escapes were very helpful in booking a great riding holiday in Iceland; saw the northern lights without having to leave hte hotel which is a bonus!

It has been a great experience in wonderful places! Nature is simply stunning and the horses were incredibly sweet too.
I loved the beach canter, in an empty beach. It was amazing!
Service is incredible and the hotels we had offered all a great service!
I am already thinking where to go next year! :-)

As a nervous returning rider after a long break, I can't recommend the Icelandic experience more highly. The staff and guides are so supportive and the horses, so well looked after, are carefully selected for your experience. Beautiful riding (recommend the beach ride) and there is also lots of flexibility (e.g can do half instead of full days). The Equestrian Escapes Team were also extremely helpful throughout.

My cousin and I came for a ride and spa holiday for my 50th birthday at Cheshire (Willington Hall Riding Centre). The riding school was wonderful. The staff so lovely and the horses are beautiful. The stables are beautifully kept and the horses are so loved and cared for. We had 3 riding lessons and depending on riding ability, a hack out is available too. I rode the gorgeous gentleman Timmy and my cousin rode the beautiful Tulip. Our instructor Chris was so wonderful, patient and knowledgeable. She knew our level of riding straight away and pushed us to come out of our shells but also knew our limits. She was so lovely and thoughtful, taking photos for us, chatting and understanding any worries we had. The horses were just so amazing and beautiful. I cannot recommend this riding venue enough, nothing was a trouble, the staff were so friendly and kind and we had a magical experience that we will treasure forever. Thank you so much.

I'm just back from a wonderful trip to Wales and I can report that the tour was amazing. Who would've thought Wales was so beautiful?? Our guide (Kat) was terrific, the horses amazing, the landscape stunning, the accommodation quite ok (as to be expected in the middle of nowhere), and my companions during the tour inspiring.
I'm already contemplating when and where to do the next tour!

Woolacombe was beautiful and the riding first class. The riding stable is close to the beach and have many scenic rides. The staff are lovely and have a high safety standard. My granddaughter rode a different pony each day as her confidence grew. We would recommend this riding stable and will look forward to riding here again.

Just wanted to drop a review for the break I just had with Angie!
Just got home from the most gorgeous little break in Wiltshire. Angie, Emma and Jane were absolutely wonderful and made me feel so settled and welcome from the minute I met them. There was lots of opportunity to help out with the horses as well as just relax in the beautifully kept cabin, and Angie kept me well fed with meals and snacks! Angie went above and beyond at every opportunity to make me feel welcome and happy and kept me well entertained every day when I wasn't riding.
The rides were beautiful, so much wildlife and history in the woods, we were nattering for ages on horseback! We saw pheasants, wild rabbits, fallow deer and birds of prey and the trails themselves were stunningly gorgeous and different every day. The horses were so well trained - 'sports cars' of the horse world as Jane put it - and I received so much expert help from Emma, Angie and Jane that I went from a very rusty rider with lots of ropey old riding school habits on day one, to feeling really confident back in the saddle by day three!
The rest of the time I was free to help with the horses where appropriate, potter around, read, ramble around the estate and the woods, do some writing, fuss the cat, nap in the cabin (which has a TV and dvd player!), etc. If you are massive thrill seekers expecting activities to do at every second of the day, this might not be the best fit for you - but if you're like me and desperately needed an escape from the city and a switch off from my phone and my computer screens at work, this is absolutely perfect, it is totally idyllic and so calming. I am already eyeing up potential dates for next Spring!
Thank you again for everything.

Just had a fantastic holiday through Equestrian Escapes. Chessy organised a five night trip for us to Jerez in Spain, which included The Spanish school of riding, the national stud tour and show, an amazing lesson with a ride on a Spanish bull fighter horse in a Spanish saddle, we had best seats in the house for both shows. The hotel was lovely, right in the heart of old Jerez. We added on two nights in Gibraltar and took a car up to Jerez, which I recommend, as we took the coastal road, stopped at Tarifa and organised a whale watching trip, that didn’t disappoint. This was on my bucket list and was beyond my expectations.
